Which prime lens offers the best image quality for L-mount portraits?

What is the absolute sharpest prime for L-mount portraits right now if we are just talking image quality? Ive been shooting on my S1R for years but mostly with the 24-70 and I finally need a dedicated prime for a wedding in Tahoe next month.

Im so stoked to finally get real bokeh but the options are overwhelming...

I've spent a lot of time with the S1R and honestly, the Sigma 85mm f/1.4 DG DN Art L-Mount is the one to beat for pure sharpness. While there are plenty of choices, this specific Art lens was designed for mirrorless from the ground up and it really shows in how it handles high-res sensors. For a wedding in Tahoe, youre gonna want something that is sharp but also manageable to carry around all day. Practical considerations for your setup:Micro-contrast is exceptional, which really helps with skin textures in natural mountain light.The custom AFL button on the side can be mapped to eye-AF toggle, which is a lifesaver during fast-moving ceremonies.Size is much better than the chunky 50mm Lumix, so it balances better on the S1R body during long sessions.Autofocus is snappy enough for candids, though not quite as instant as the Leica counterparts. If you really want to go all out on budget, the Leica APO-Summicron-SL 90mm f/2 ASPH is the technical king of the system. The apochromatic design means zero color fringing, even in high-contrast Tahoe sun. Tbh, the price tag is the only real downside there. Sigma is a decent option if you want to save cash while getting pro results. It works perfectly with the S1R for that kind of work and you wont be disappointed.autofocus is pretty reliablesharp across the framereally nice bokeh Just get any of their pro primes and youll be good to go.
