So I finally pulled the trigger on a Z6ii for my trip to Italy next month but honestly im hitting a wall with these lens reviews. I spent way too much on the body and now I have like $1100 left for glass and im stressing out. I read everywhere that the 24-120mm f/4 is the ultimate travel lens but then I go on these forums and half the people say its too slow for night shots and I should just suck it up and get the 24-70mm 2.8 S. But that thing is huge and way over my budget right now anyway... I just want one lens that stays on the camera for the whole trip without making my neck snap. Is the 24-120 actually sharp enough or am I gonna regret not getting a faster prime?

@Reply #1 - good point! Late to the party but honestly over the years ive found f/4 is plenty since the Z6ii BSI sensor handles noise so well. If you want f/2.8 without the S-line price, check these:

I've been super happy with the Nikon NIKKOR Z 24-120mm f/4 S. It is sharp and stays on my Z6ii all day. Just bump your ISO at night and you'll be fine.

Works great for me
