I'm looking for recommendations on the best wide-angle lens for my Sony a6400 APS-C camera. I mainly shoot landscapes and architecture. Budget is flexible for the right lens. What do you suggest?

For Sony APS-C shooters, the Sigma 10-18mm f/2.8 DC DN Contemporary is an excellent wide-angle zoom. Its 15-27mm equivalent range is perfect for landscapes and architecture. The fast f/2.8 constant aperture enables low-light shooting and background blur. Sharp optics, compact size (300g), and affordable price ($799) make it a great value. The smooth, quiet autofocus suits both stills and video. Overall, this lens offers an outstanding combination of versatility, performance, and value for Sony APS-C users seeking a high-quality wide-angle option.

> I'm looking for recommendations on the best wide-angle lens for my Sony a6400 APS-C camera. Like someone mentioned, the Sony E 10-18mm f/4 OSS is a pretty solid choice if you find it used. It's been around forever so it's a proven lens, which is nice if you're worried about reliability. I've had mine for ages and it just works without any issues. Buying used is a good way to save money for other stuff too. Tbh I spent all this time researching lenses and then realized I didn't even have a decent way to carry my kit. I ended up looking at padded inserts for my old school bag instead of buying a fancy camera bag. It's way cheaper and basically does the same thing. Anyway... but yeah, go with something proven and save some cash.

Based on your requirements and budget, I recommend the Sony E 10-20mm f/4 PZ G wide-angle lens for your Sony APS-C camera. This lens offers excellent image quality, optical stabilization, and a versatile zoom range ideal for landscapes, architecture, and interiors. Its wide aperture of f/4 ensures good low-light performance while maintaining a compact size.
