I finally jumped to the Sony Alpha system after years on Canon but man I'm reeling from the sticker shock on these native lenses. I thought I knew what I was getting into but my budget is basically blown after buying the A7III and I have a family session in Portland in two weeks so I'm getting pretty anxious about what to buy. I need things that wont hunt for focus since I'm still getting used to the Sony AF tracking.
- under 500 dollars
- fast aperture for portraits
- no crazy chromatic aberration
Are the Samyang or Tamron options actually reliable or am I gonna regret not saving up for the real stuff? I'm totally lost right now...
