Along with the Fujifilm GFX 50S II (Amazon/ B&H/ Adorama), Fujifilm also officially announced the new Fujifilm GF 35-70mm F4.5-5.6 WR lens. It is a medium format lens that’s equivalent to 28-55mm in 35mm terms. It’s extremely compact for a medium format lens thanks to its collapsable design and weighs in at just 440g (15.5oz). The lens focuses quickly thanks to its stepping motor. Fujifilm claims that focus breathing has been minimized. The minimum focus distance of the lens is 35cm, while the maximum magnification is 0.28x. The lens is weather-sealed.
This new lens costs $999, first available for pre-order at Amazon/ B&H/ Adorama. It will start shipping from November 30, 2021.
