Omg I just bought an X-S10 body and Im so excited!! But wait... I totally forgot I need an actual lens lol. Im on a super tight budget now, maybe like 200 bucks max? What is actually the best cheap lens to get started with street photography?
TL;DR: Grab a TTArtisan 27mm f/2.8 XF or look for a used XC 15-45mm f/3.5-5.6 OIS PZ. Congrats on the new body! I was in the exact same boat last year when I blew my whole budget on the camera itself and had like nothing left for glass. I ended up picking up the little TTArtisan pancake lens because it's super cheap and fits right in my jacket pocket. Honestly, autofocus can hunt a bit in low light, but for street stuff during the day, its totally fine and forces you to move your feet. If you want something a bit more versatile with zoom, hunt around for a used XC kit lens. Optically its way better than people give it credit for, even if the plastic mount feels kinda cheap.
