Ive been shooting weddings and events for years now, mostly sticking with my trusty old a7iii, but the shutter count is getting ridiculous and I really need an a7iv upgrade before my heavy fall season kicks off in about three weeks. My logic was that prices would drop more by now since it's been out a while, but looking around online is just stressing me out. Adorama and B&H have the standard kit, but Im trying to keep my total spend around 2200 bucks if possible, maybe 2400 max if it includes a decent lens or some bundle extras. Refurbished is fine with me, hell I'd even take a open box from a reputable dealer at this point. I keep seeing sketchy grey market listings on eBay that look way too good to be true and I refuse to get burned again like I did back in 2018. So I was thinking maybe there are some local camera shops running secret promos or some niche forums where people are offloading theirs? Where are you guys actually finding legit deals on these right now without getting scammed?
