This is the first image of the upcoming OM SYSTEM 12-40mm F2.8 Pro II lens, leaked at FT5. This new lens is scheduled to be announced with OM SYSTEM 40-150mm F4 Pro lens.
The appearance of the ED 12-40mm F2.8 II Pro lens seems to be almost the same as the current model except for the logo mark, so it seems that there is a high possibility of minor changes, but we are wondering if there is a change in the optical system.
The ED 40-150mm F4 PRO seems to have a retractable position index on the zoom ring, so it’s a retractable lens. It seems to be compact and easy to use as a zoom through F4 up to 300mm conversion.
From the images, you could see the Olympus Logo is replaced with the new OM System brand name.
