A new Sigma lens is coming! According to the latest rumors from SAR, Sigma will announce a new FE zoom lens on February 24, 2021 for around $900. This new lens is expected to compete against the current Tamron 28-75mm F2.8 Di III RXD lens .
Sigma already has a lineup of standard zooms for full-frame mirrorless cameras, Sigma 24-70mm F2.8 DG DN Art lens, so we thought the rumored new zoom would be a telephoto zoom, but apparently a second standard zoom has appeared.
Since the new zoom will be a competitor to Tamron’s 28-75mm F / 2.8, will it be a lighter and more compact lens with a 28mm start?
