Last year, Nikon released the new zoom AF-S NIKKOR 200-500mm f/5.6E ED VR lens and the prime AF-S NIKKOR 500mm f/4E FL ED VR Lens. We all know that the price of the zoom lens is just 20% of the prime and the weight is just half of the zoom. But what many don’t know is what kind of image quality does it produce, and how it will perform at various apertures for many wildlife photographers.
