I finally pulled the trigger on the X-T5 but picking a lens is stressing me out. Im heading to Kyoto soon and need one zoom for street shots and landscapes. I read that the 18-55mm is a classic but some folks say it cant handle the 40mp sensor resolution. Then there is the 16-80mm which has great range but Ive heard it gets soft at the edges which is annoying.

I have about $900 for this. I want something sharp enough for the high res sensor but not so heavy it kills my neck after walking all day. Whats the best all-around zoom that actually keeps up with the T5?
