Sigma 15mm F1.4 DG DN Diagonal Fisheye Art Lens to be Announced on February 21st

Crazy! Sigma will announce a new 15mm f/1.4 DG DN Diagonal Fisheye Art lens on February 21st along with Sigma 500mm F5.6 DG DN OS S lens!

This 15mm F1.4 is an unprecedented type of lens, and no one has ever made a full-frame fisheye lens this bright. Owning an F1.4 fisheye lens will open up new possibilities never seen before.

But how big will this lens be? We think it’s going to be huge.

In addition to the previously rumored 500mm F5.6, Sigma seems to be preparing an ultra-large aperture diagonal fisheye lens 15mm F1.4 for the new CP+ product. F2.8 is common for fisheye lenses in this class, so F1.4 has a surprisingly large aperture and will be useful for things like starscape photography.

Rumored Sigma 500mm f/5.6 specs:

  • Lightweight lens
  • Very fast AF onĀ Sony A1
  • The lens sharper than the Sony FE 200-600 G
  • very low chromatic aberration
  • Coming for Sony E and Leica L mount cameras
  • Price just under $3,000
  • Announcement on February 21.
