Sigma has just officially announced the new Sigma 17mm F4 DG DN Contemporary lens for Sony E and Leica L mounts. It is a new wide angle prime for full frame cameras with a compact footprint with a high-speed stepping motor for smooth and quiet focusing during video recording. It has three aspherical lens elements along with two special low dispersion elements, seven rounded aperture blades and a minimum focus distance of 12cm/4.72in.
This new lens cost $599, first available for pre-order at B&H/ Adorama.
