Sigma has just officially announced the new Sigma 28-70mm F2.8 DG DN Contemporary lens. It is a fast standard zoom lens for full-frame L- and E-mount bodies, featuring three aspherical, two ‘FLD’ and two ‘SLD’ elements, as well as Super-Multi Layer and Nano Porous coatings to reduce ghosting and aberrations. It has a minimum focus distance of 19cm (7.5″) and a maximum magnification of 0.3X. This new lens costs $899, first availalbe for pre-order at B&H/ Adorama.
