Sigma 70-200mm F2.8 Lens to be Announced for Sony FE and Leica L on October 6?

Sigma 70-200mm F2.8 FE lens is finally coming! According to SAR, this new lens may be announced on October 6th, 2023.

This is really good news! An affordable alternative to the very expensive (and excellent performance) Sony FE 70-200mm F2.8 GM II ($2,798) is coming.  Sigma is planning a live-streaming event on October 6th. Sigma is likely to announce a 70-200mm F2.8 for Sony full-frame mirrorless cameras.

It’s been a long time since rumors started circulating, but it seems that Sigma 70-200mm F2.8 for mirrorless cameras is finally coming. As much as it took a long time, we would like to have high expectations for the finish of the optical system and AF. we think that the L-mount version will also appear, so it seems that Panasonic, Sigma, and Leica users will have a good telephoto zoom option!
