OM Digital Solutions Co., Ltd. is developing the first high-performance telephoto macro lens “M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 90mm F3.5 Macro IS PRO” (equivalent to 180mm in 35mm format) as the “M.ZUIKO PRO” lens. This new lens is scheduled to be announced in 2023.
With a maximum magnification of 4x (35mm equivalent), this telephoto macro lens is ideal for nature photography.

1. Equivalent focal length of 180mm, high optical performance unique to M.ZUIKO PRO lenses

The telephoto macro that OM users have been waiting for has finally been announced. It is scheduled to be announced in 2023, so it will take some time, but it seems that quite a few people had given up on commercializing a telephoto macro, so this is a great development announcement.
