so i just got this sony a7 camera used and i really want to take pictures of the big skyscrapers in nyc but i go next friday and i only have the lens that came with it. people keep saying i need a wide angle lens for the big buildings but i look online and there are so many numbers like 14mm or 24mm and i dont get it at all.
everything i see is like over a thousand dollars and i cant do that right now. i only have maybe 350 bucks left after buying the camera. i feel so stupid asking this but what is actually a cheap wide angle lens that will work for a sony? is there anything good under 400 that isnt gonna be junk?
Ive tried many budget options over the years and the Samyang 18mm f/2.8 AF Compact Sony FE is unbeatable. Itll handle those skyscrapers easily for under 300 bucks.
