After Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 DG DN II Art lens (B&H/ Adorama) has been officially announced, Sigma 28-45mm F1.8 DG DN Art Lens is coming near! According to SAR, it will be the World’s first f/1.8 Full Frame autofocus zoom lens.
Sigma 28-45mm F1.8 DG DN Art lens is specifically designed with videographers and filmmakers in mind. It maybe significantly larger and heavier than a typical photography lens, which may limit its appeal to some photographers.
The lens’s unique focal range and wide aperture will likely provide filmmakers with a versatile tool for capturing stunning video footage with shallow depth of field and excellent low-light performance.

From a photographers point of view I wonder if it will show good sharpness on a 61MP sensor and if it struggles with purple fringing?
Other than that, those focal length are the most used of mine indoors, what makes this a very interesting lens.
