The successor of Canon EF 135mm F2L USM is coming! According to the latest rumors from CR1, Canon is working on a replacement for EF 135mm F2L and a possible announcement will be in 2016. They didn’t confirm whether this new lens would use an f/1.8 or a straight f/2 aperture, but most likely with “IS”.
The current Canon EF 135mm F2L USM lens (Amazon/ B&H/ Adorama/ eBay) was announced almost 20 years ago. It is time to be updated.
