So I just got a Canon 90D for my birthday and I am literally so obsessed with it but the lens it came with is kinda boring? I keep hearing people talk about prime lenses and how they make the background all blurry which is exactly what I want for my sisters engagement party next month!! I have like zero idea what I'm doing though lol. I'm looking for something cheap since I spent all my savings on the camera body itself so maybe under $150 or $200?

• must be good for people and maybe my dog
• easy to use for a total beginner
• not too heavy

Is there a specific one that everyone starts with? I see a 50mm one online but I dont know if it fits my camera...
