ive been staring at my screen for three hours and i think im losing my mind trying to find a decent price on this thing. my nikon z6 literally just died on me during a family shoot and i have been wanting to switch to fuji for ages but the timing is just awful. i have my sisters wedding coming up on the 15th of next month and i really need to get my hands on an x-t5 before then so i can actually learn the menus and dial in my settings.

the thing is i keep finding these half-baked bundles that dont make any sense. i saw one on adorama that looked like a steal but then i realized it was for the silver version only and its on backorder for like three weeks anyway. then i checked b&h and they have a kit with the 18-55mm but once you add the extra batteries and a dual charger it ends up being way over my budget. i read online that some people were getting free bags or sd cards bundled in but i cant find those links anywhere today. its like the deals just disappeared overnight or maybe im just looking in the wrong places. its just so annoying how prices fluctuate literally every hour.

here is what im actually looking for:

• total budget is $2,200 tops for the body and at least one versatile lens
• really want the black body version because the silver is too flashy for street stuff
• needs to be in stock and ready to ship to portland oregon
• would prefer the 16-80mm f4 lens for the constant aperture but i might settle for the 18-55 if the price is actually right
• gotta have it in my hands in the next two weeks

is there some promo code or a specific retailer im missing? i checked focus camera and moment too but everything seems to be at msrp which feels crazy for a camera thats been out this long. maybe there are student discounts or something i can jump on? i just dont want to overpay and then see a huge sale go live two days later...
