Which sites are actually reliable for tracking camera gear sales? Im getting super frustrated checking B&H and Adorama manually every single day. Im looking to pick up either a Sony A7IV or a Canon R6 Mark II before my trip to Japan in November, and my budget is strictly around 2k for the body. I know about camelcamelcamel but it seems kinda hit or miss for specific photography bundles. Do you guys use any specific trackers or mailing lists that dont just spam your inbox with junk? Trying to figure out if I should hold out for Black Friday or just bite the bullet now...

Honestly, checking those sites daily is just gonna drive you crazy. I stopped doing that ages ago. If you want a solid deal on a Sony Alpha 7 IV Full-frame Mirrorless Camera or the Canon EOS R6 Mark II Mirrorless Camera 24.2MP, just set up alerts on slickdeals. It works way better than manual checks because the community flags the good stuff instantly. Camelcamelcamel is fine for basic stuff but yeah, it misses the good bundles. Since you are eyeing November, waiting for Black Friday is usually worth it for the body only, but dont expect massive discounts on brand new gear. Sometimes the refurbished sections on the official manufacturer sites are where the real gems are at. Just keep an eye on those if you want to save a few hundred bucks for extra glass.
