I just got this camera for my sister's wedding in June. It has so many megapixels and I want the pictures to look super crisp but I dont even know what makes a lens sharp or what numbers to look for. My budget is like $1000 and I'm totally lost with all the options honestly... what do people use for that?
Youll want the Fujifilm XF 56mm f/1.2 R WR. It was specifically designed to resolve that 40MP sensor. Its easily the sharpest portrait glass for your sisters wedding.
> what numbers to look for Like someone mentioned, the 56mm works. Quick tip: check MTF charts for resolution. How large is the venue? Basically, the Fujifilm XF 90mm f/2 R LM WR is technically a sharper, reliable option.
Man I wish I found this thread sooner. Would have saved me so much hassle.
No way, I literally just dealt with this yesterday. Small world.
