Best all-around zoom lens for the Panasonic Lumix S5II?

Question

Which zoom should I actually buy for my new S5II if I need one lens to do it all for a wedding? I just switched from Sony for the open gate recording but the L-mount options are stressing me out.

Im looking at the Sigma 24-70mm Art vs the Panasonic 24-105mm f4 and cant decide if the f2.8 is worth losing the extra reach and the native sync IS. I have a shoot in Lake Tahoe in two weeks and my budget is $1500. Does the Sigma play nice with the new phase detect or should I stick to Panasonic glass to be safe? I really dont want to mess this up...
