Im so frustrated. I got a Leica SL for my Chicago trip but the zoom lens is way too heavy and I'm totally lost. I just want one small, simple prime lens for street stuff. Sorry if this is a dumb question but which one is actually the best? My budget is around $1000.

I totally get it, that zoom is a beast! You definitely need something smaller for Chicago. Honestly, you dont have to spend thousands on Leica glass to get amazing shots.
- Panasonic LUMIX S 35mm F1.8 S-S35 is super fast and light.
- Sigma 45mm f/2.8 DG DN Contemporary L-Mount is tiny and cheap! Both are way under your $1000 budget and honestly perform fantastic!
