So I just picked up a Lumix camera but I have no idea where to start with the lenses. Honestly I'm a bit overwhelmed by all the options and sorry if this is a basic thing to ask. I was thinking that since I'm going to Yellowstone next month I should probably get one lens that does everything.
My logic was to look at that 20-60mm one that comes in the box but then I saw a 24-105mm online and now I'm stuck. Is the 105 one better because it zooms more? I have about $850 saved up for this and really just want one lens so I dont have to carry a heavy bag around. What do people usually get for just general everyday stuff...
I suggest being careful with the 20-60mm. I once took a short lens to Yellowstone and missed every bear sighting. Grab a Panasonic Lumix S 24-105mm f/4 Macro O.I.S. instead.
