Which L-mount prime lens is actually the best one for doing professional street photography? I just bought a Panasonic S5II because the guy at the camera shop told me it was a beast for beginners who want to go pro later but I have absolutely no idea what I am doing when it comes to picking a lens. I keep hearing about primes being better than zooms for street stuff but there are so many options and the prices are all over the place. I really want that look where the person is super sharp but the city background is all soft and creamy... is that the aperture thing? Sorry if this is a total newbie question I just dont want to waste my money. I have about $900 saved up specifically for a lens and I am heading to Tokyo in three weeks so I kinda need to decide fast. Someone mentioned a 35mm or a 50mm but I dont know what the difference really feels like when you are actually out there on the sidewalk. Is the Sigma one better than the Panasonic ones? I saw a 35mm f1.8 and a 35mm f2 and I dont even know why they are different if they are both 35mm. I just want something that wont be too heavy to carry around all day while I am exploring. Any advice for someone who is literally starting from zero would be so helpful...
