Ive been a Nikon shooter for years but just swapped my D850 for a Z8 and honestly the FTZ adapter is just too bulky for travel. Ive got a huge wedding shoot in Tuscany next Friday and need to travel light. Whats the absolute best all-around Z lens that stays on the body 90% of the time?

tbh i had high hopes for the Nikon NIKKOR Z 24-120mm f/4 S but the f/4 aperture was disappointing for indoor ceremonies. Stick to the Nikon NIKKOR Z 24-70mm f/2.8 S for reliability.
- 24-120mm: great range but i had issues with grain
- 24-70mm: heavy, but its safer for weddings The 2.8 wont let you down in those dark villas. Good luck in Tuscany!
