So I finally caved and picked up a used Sony A6400 a couple weeks ago because I wanted something way more portable than my old DSLR for travel. Im heading to Japan in October and honestly the kit lens is just not cutting it for the street photography and night shots I want to take. I dont have a huge budget, definitely trying to keep it under 400 bucks if I can help it. Ive been scouring marketplace and read way too many reviews but I keep going back and forth between a few options.

First off, everyone seems to rave about the Sigma 30mm f/1.4. It looks sharp and the bokeh is supposed to be amazing for the price, which is perfect for those moody night shots in Tokyo. But then I saw the Sony E 35mm f/1.8 OSS. The built-in stabilization is tempting because I have shaky hands, though it is a bit pricier and I worry about the sharpness compared to the Sigma. I also briefly considered the Viltrox 23mm f/1.4 just because of the wider field of view which would be better for tight alleys, but ive heard mixed things about their quality control which makes me nervous since I dont have time to return things before my flight.

My biggest priority is just getting something that wont be a total pain to carry around all day but can actually handle low light since I wont be bringing a tripod. The Sigma 30mm feels like the winner for image quality, but Im really worried about the lack of stabilization. Is the difference in sharpness really that noticeable for someone just posting on instagram or should I just prioritize the Sony lens for the OSS? Has anyone used the Sigma handheld at night without it being a blurry disaster? Really torn on which way to go here...
