Im seriously losing my mind with my current 24-70mm lens, the corners are just mushy garbage and its ruining my landscape shots. Im in London and have about 1500 quid to spend before my trip next month. Which Sony E-mount lens is actually sharp enough to stop this headache?

If you want edge-to-edge sharpness for landscapes, you really should grab the Sony FE 24mm f/1.4 GM Full Frame Wide-Angle Prime. It is honestly ridiculous how crisp it is compared to most zooms. Since you are in London, check local shops for a deal. Its a fixed focal length, but the quality is unmatched imo.
Are you mostly shooting wide landscapes or do you need a bit of reach? Honestly, the Sony FE 20mm f/1.8 G Full Frame Ultra-Wide Prime is a total steal and super sharp!
@Reply #1 - good point! honestly, i had issues with zooms too before realizing primes are just built different. if you want serious landscape glass for that budget, grab the Sony FE 35mm f/1.4 GM Full Frame Wide-Angle Prime. i tried zooms for years but the corner softness is just inevitable. manual focus and a tripod always helps too, dont skip those basics.
