The design of Canon RF16mm F2.8 STM lens is exactly the same as Canon RF 50mm F1.8 STM lens, and the control ring selector switch and 43mm filter diameter are also the same. This lens is extremely small for a full-frame 16mm lens, and it seems that you can always put it in one corner of the camera bag. It is also attractive to be able to use a small front filter despite the super wide angle.
