Nikon Nikkor Z 800mm F6.3 VR S Lens Announced, Priced $6,496.95, Available for Pre-Order

Nikon has just officially announced the new Nikon Nikkor Z 800mm F6.3 VR S lens. It is the longest super telephoto lens for its Z mount lens lineup. Despite its super telephoto focal length, the lens is rather compact and lightweight thanks to the use of a Phase Fresnel lens element. It weighs only 2.4kg (5lbs 4.2oz). The lens’ image stabilization is CIPA-rated for up to 5 stops and up to 5.5 stops when used with the Synchro VR on Nikon’s Z9 camera.

This new lens costs $6,496.95, first available for pre-order at B&H/ Adorama.
