Panasonic “LUMIX S 85mm F1.8 (S-S85)” seems to be available for pre-order in Japan on November 5th (it is unconfirmed whether it was announced in advance overseas).
This new lens has a total length of 82.0mm and weighs 355 grams, so it seems to be relatively lightweight and compact. The shortest shooting distance of 0.8m and the maximum shooting magnification of 0.13x are average for a lens of this class.
Although it is not a PRO series lens, it uses two ED lenses, so it seems that you can expect a lot of image quality. The rest is what you are concerned about the price.
