Sony has just officially announced the Sony FE 200-600 F5.6-6.3 G OSS lens. It is a super-zoom telephoto lens for full-frame mirrorless cameras, featuring 24 elements, including aspherical and ED glass, as well a Nano AR coating to reduce ghosting and flare, a Direct Drive SSM (linear) AF motor, a manual focus ring with linear control, three customizable focus-hold buttons and three IS modes. The minimum focus distance of the lens is 2.4m and the maximum magnification is 0.2x. This new lens costs $1,998, first available for Pre-Order at B&H/ Adorama.
