I really want to get a real camera before my sisters wedding in December because my iPhone zoom is just terrible and blurry. I have no idea what I am doing though so please bear with me lol. I keep seeing people talk about Nikon being the best for beginners but when I go on Amazon or Best Buy there are just so many numbers and letters and I dont even know what they mean. Like whats a DSLR vs mirrorless? Anyway since Black Friday is basically here I figured I should try to find a deal but I have no clue which stores are actually good. My budget is probably around $650 max which I know isnt a lot for camera stuff but I was thinking maybe there is a bundle with a lens included? My logic was that I could find a big box store deal but then I saw some people talking about sites like:
- B&H Photo
- Adorama
- Best Buy
- even Costco
And now I am just totally lost. Are those specialized sites safe or should I just stick to Target or Walmart? If anyone knows which specific Nikon model I should look for that might be on sale soon that would be great because I am literally starting from zero here... just want something that takes sharp photos of people without me needing a degree in science to use it.
TL;DR: Stick to B&H Photo or Adorama for total safety!! Honestly, B&H and Adorama are amazing and way safer than random sellers on Amazon. Grab the Nikon Z30 Mirrorless with 16-50mm f/3.5-6.3 Lens bundle! Its fantastic for beginners and mirrorless is way easier to use because you see exactly what the photo looks like before you click. Total game changer for wedding shots!
