New Canon EF IS lens is coming! According to the latest rumors from CR1, Canon is now developing a new 24-70mm standard zoom lens with Image Stabilization: EF 24-70mm f/2.8L IS lens.
The current Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II USM was released in 2012 and from then on, there was a lot of talk about an IS version, but we finally got the Canon EF 24-70 f/4L IS lens. Now, this new IS F2.8L version is in development. It is rumored to be more expensive than EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II USM and will not replace EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II USM.
