I finally saved up and treated myself to an R5 Mark II for my sisters wedding this summer but Im totally lost on what lens to buy. I have about 1500 to spend and just want something that works for everything so I dont have to carry a bunch of extra gear around. Does anyone have a suggestion for the best all-around lens?

Honestly, skip the kit lenses. In my experience, for a wedding, you need versatility and reliability. If you only want one lens that covers everything, I'd go with the Canon RF 24-105mm F4 L IS USM.
- It is super sharp.
- The weather sealing is top notch.
- Its worth every penny for peace of mind. You really wont need anything else for the day, trust me.
