Is anyone seeing any legit deals or coupons for the Canon R5 right now? I'm trying to upgrade my kit before the spring wedding season starts here in Chicago and my old 5D is literally hanging on by a thread at this point.
I've been scouring the web and I saw that B&H has an instant rebate for a couple hundred bucks but honestly $200 off a $3k camera feels like nothing lol. I also saw some weird listings on eBay for international versions that are way cheaper but people on Reddit were saying the warranty is basically non-existent if you buy those grey market ones so I'm kinda scared to pull the trigger on that.
I'm really hoping to stay under $2800 for the body if possible. Do you guys think there's gonna be a bigger price drop soon since the Mark II rumors are everywhere or should I just bite the bullet and pay the current price? I dont want to wait until May and then find out I missed a huge sale or something. If you've seen any promo codes or specific retailers doing a better bundle deal let me know...

If you really need to stay under $2800, your best bet is probably the Canon EOS R5 Refurbished Body directly from Canon's official store. They occasionally drop it to $2599 or even lower during their flash sales. It comes with a full year warranty which is way safer for professional wedding work. Just keep checking their site daily cuz they sell out fast tho.
