Does anyone know what the best mirrorless camera deals are for this month because I really need to buy one like right now and I am so stressed out about it. My sisters wedding is coming up in three weeks in Chicago and I promised her I would take some nice photos but I realized my old phone just isnt gonna cut it and now I am panicking because I have no idea what I am looking at. I went on some sites and there are so many numbers and letters like a6400 or z50 or r50 and I dont know what any of it means. I just want something that makes the background blurry and looks professional but isnt impossible to learn in a week.

I have about 800 dollars maybe 900 if I stretch it but that has to include the lens too I think? I am looking at Best Buy and Amazon but everything looks so expensive and I am scared of buying the wrong thing and wasting my money. I heard mirrorless is better than the big bulky ones but honestly I am just totally lost. Is there a specific sale going on right now for beginners that I should look at before the end of the month? I feel so stupid for waiting this long to ask...

Im very satisfied with the Canon EOS R50 with 18-45mm Kit. Add the Canon RF 50mm f/1.8 STM lens to get those professional blurry backgrounds easily.

Re: "Unfortunately, those bundle deals at Best Buy are..." - yeah, dont trust those kits.

Unfortunately, those bundle deals at Best Buy are pretty disappointing. I had issues with the Sony Alpha a6400 with 16-50mm Power Zoom because that lens aperture is way too slow for blurry backgrounds. Its not as good as expected for wedding portraits. You really need a fast lens like the Sigma 30mm f/1.4 DC DN Contemporary for Sony E to get that pro look, or youll just be frustrated.
