so im looking to upgrade to the fujifilm x-t5 before my sisters wedding in july and ive been scouring the web for a deal. right now im stuck between:
- buying new from b&h for 1699
- a grey market import from an ebay seller for 1450
- waiting for a used one on mpb to drop below 1600
my budget is a hard $1700 and if i spend it all on the body i wont have enough for a lens which is a huge problem. b&h feels safe but that $250 difference for the ebay one is tempting. has anyone bought those import models before or am i just asking for trouble with the warranty...
> am i just asking for trouble with the warranty... I would suggest checking for an open-box Fujifilm X-T5 40.2MP Mirrorless Camera Body at authorized dealers. Be careful with imports; you wont get a factory warranty and it just isnt worth the risk.
Building on the earlier suggestion, check for official refurbished units of the Fujifilm X-T5 40.2MP Digital Camera. They ensure factory-standard reliability and include warranties, effectively balancing cost and security... it's the safest middle ground.
Honestly, go with MPB for a used one. Ive been super happy with my gear from them and they actually offer a warranty, unlike those grey market ebay sellers who leave you hanging.
- saves cash for a lens
- condition is accurately rated
- legit 6-month warranty included My Fujifilm X-T5 40MP Mirrorless Body Only arrived looking brand new and works perfectly. No complaints here.
