Where can I find the best discounts on Fujifilm X-T5?

So I finally decided I want to get a real camera because my phone pictures just arent cutting it anymore and everyone keeps telling me the Fujifilm X-T5 is like the gold standard for travel and stuff. Honestly I have no idea what half the buttons do or what a sensor even is but I really want to learn. The problem is I looked it up and wow its way more expensive than I thought it would be. Im trying to find some kind of deal or discount because Im on a pretty tight budget and Im feeling super lost with all the different websites.

Im based in Seattle and Im planning this big trip to Japan in October so I really want to have the camera by then to practice a bit. Ive been looking at some sites but I cant tell whats legit and whats a scam honestly. Is it better to buy it with a lens together or separate? I dont even know what lens I would even need. Im sorry if these are really basic questions I just feel like Im drowning in information and every time I search for discounts I just get these weird sketchy looking ads that look too good to be true.

My budget is ideally around $1500 to $1600 total if that is even possible for this model

Needs to be from a trusted store because I am terrified of getting a fake or a broken one

Would love a bundle deal if those are actually worth it or if I should buy pieces separately

I am okay with refurbished or used if it looks like new but I have no clue where to find those reliably

Do these things ever go on sale for like major holidays or anything? Or is there a secret student discount somewhere that I am missing? I tried checking some local shops here in the city but they were actually way more expensive than the stuff I saw on Amazon. If anyone knows a place that has actual real discounts and not just like a free SD card or something please let me know. I really want this camera but I cant drop two grand right now without feeling like Im gonna go broke...

I am still learning too but I've been very satisfied with the used market for my Fuji gear. To hit your budget, I suggest buying a used Fujifilm X-T5 Mirrorless Digital Camera from MPB or KEH. They do thorough inspections so I've had no complaints. Buying the body and a used Fujifilm XF 18-55mm f/2.8-4 R LM OIS lens separately is way more cost-effective. It worked well for me.
