Which retailers are actually gonna have the best Canon DSLR bundles this year? Ive been shooting on a 70D for years but I need a body upgrade before a wedding shoot in December. Looking for a 90D around $1200. Is B&H still the best spot or should I be looking elsewhere for better Black Friday doorbusters?
Honestly, finding a brand new Canon EOS 90D Body for a massive discount is getting tougher since the industry moved toward mirrorless. If you're dead set on a DSLR for that December wedding, you really need to be careful with those doorbuster bundles you see on Amazon or random sites. Most of the time, they just pack in a bunch of cheap, third-party filters and flimsy tripods that are basically e-waste. From my experience, here is how you should approach this:
- Stick to B&H or Adorama for the Canon EOS 90D with 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM Lens if you want a legit warranty.
- Watch the Canon Refurbished store like a hawk. They often have the best prices on the Canon EOS 90D Body and their quality control is often better than new stock.
- Avoid any deal that seems too good to be true from electronics shops that arent the big names; they might be selling gray market gear without a valid US warranty. I would suggest grabbing the body early rather than waiting for a literal Black Friday morning drop. The 90D is still popular for sports and wildlife, so stock can get thin. If you can find just the body for under $1100, jump on it. You dont want to be learning a new button layout two days before a wedding anyway. Make sure to check the shutter count if you do end up looking at used options tho.
