Does anyone know if there is a big sale happening on the Fujifilm X-T5 right now anywhere online or in stores? Im literally brand new to all of this and honestly feel so lost looking at all these different camera websites like BH or Adorama because there are so many numbers and letters its kind of overwhelming. I really really want to get into photography because I saw some videos of people using this specific camera and the pictures look like old film and so pretty but the price tag is like... wow. I think it was $1700 or something last time I checked? That is basically my entire savings right now lol.

I am living in Chicago and I checked a couple local shops but they all seem to have it for the same price and I dont know if cameras have like a "season" where they go on sale? Like do they do a summer sale or is it only black friday because I really dont want to wait until November to start shooting. I have a trip coming up to visit my sister in Seattle in August and I really wanted to have it by then so I can practice and take some cool shots of the mountains and stuff.

Sorry if this is a really dumb or basic question but I literally have no idea how this works or if there are secret coupons I should be looking for. Is it better to buy the body alone or the one with the lens included? I saw some people say "kit lens" and I think that means it comes with one but is that a good deal or a scam? Im trying to stay under $1800 total including a memory card and maybe a bag but the tax here is also kind of crazy so every dollar counts. If anyone knows if a price drop is coming soon or if there's a specific site that has a discount code for first time buyers please let me know!! I am so excited to finally start this hobby but I dont want to buy it today and then see it for $300 less next week...
