honestly so fed up with these prices, my old dslr is basically a paperweight now and I need a sony a7iv for my sisters wedding next month. my logic was to wait for a sale but im out of time and my 2000 dollar budget is getting me nowhere. where are the actual deals hidden...

Totally agree with that first reply, going used is definitely the way to go right now since new prices are so stubborn. If the Sony Alpha a7 IV Mirrorless Camera Body Only is still pushing your budget too far, you might want to consider the Sony Alpha a7C II Mirrorless Camera Body. It actually uses the same 33MP sensor and Bionz XR processor as the IV, so the internal tech is basically identical. I would suggest being careful with the single card slot tho... for a wedding, having no instant backup in the camera is a bit risky imo. Make sure to check the shutter count if you buy used, anything under 30k is usually a safe bet but id be worried if its over 100k. Just keep an eye on the reputable sites and youll find a deal soon!
