What is the best all-around prime lens for Fujifilm X-T5?

I seriously cant decide on a single all-around prime for my X-T5 and it is driving me crazy. Ive spent like three weeks reading every single forum post and watching a thousand youtube videos but I feel more lost than when I started. Everyone says the old 35mm f1.4 is the legendary soul of Fuji but then I see people arguing that it cant keep up with the 40mp sensor or the autofocus is too clunky for kids running around. Then people suggest the 33mm f1.4 but that thing looks huge compared to the compact vibe I wanted for this camera. I am heading to Japan next month and I really want to just have one lens that stays on the body for 90% of the trip but I keep bouncing between the 23mm and the 35mm focal lengths. I mostly do street photography and take photos of my family at parks around Seattle so weather sealing would be nice but is it worth the extra weight? My budget is capped at $900 and I just want something that feels right and doesnt make me look like a professional paparazzi. Is the 23mm f2 actually sharp enough for this sensor or am I gonna regret not getting the faster glass for low light? My head is honestly spinning with all these contradictory reviews...
