Which prime lens is actually the go-to for street photography on Fuji because I am genuinely torn right now. I have been looking at the 23mm f2 vs the 35mm f2 and everyone online says something different. People claim the 23mm is the classic focal length but then others say it is too wide for busy streets and you get too much clutter in the shot. I am heading to Tokyo in three weeks for a vacation and really want to keep it to just one lens to stay light. My budget is like 450 bucks max so the fancy f1.4 versions are out of the question for me. I just dont know if the 35mm will feel too zoomed in when I am in tight alleys... what do you guys think?
> 23mm f2 vs the 35mm f2 and everyone online says something different. I bought the Fujifilm Fujinon XF 23mm f/2 R WR and unfortunately was kind of disappointed. It felt too soft up close tbh. The Fujifilm Fujinon XF 35mm f/2 R WR is way sharper and basically better for isolating subjects in busy Tokyo alleys. Dont worry about it being too tight, youll get used to it! Holler if you need more gear tips.
