Which L-mount prime lens offers the sharpest image quality for portraits?

So Ive been rocking my S5II for a while now and usually the 24-105 f4 is fine for most stuff but I just landed this high-end wedding gig in Brooklyn for next month and the client is super picky about detail. I tried using my old adapted glass but the AF is just too slow and honestly it looks a bit soft wide open. I need something native L-mount thats just stupid sharp for portraits like skin texture needs to be crisp. I was looking at the Sigma 85mm f1.4 DG DN Art or maybe the Lumix 85mm f1.8 but I keep hearing mixed things about which one actually has better micro-contrast. Budget is around 1200 bucks. Which prime is actually the king of sharpness for this mount right now?

Just snagged the Sigma 105mm f/2.8 DG DN Macro Art and im super happy. Resolving power is just nuts for skin detail, way sharper than other portrait primes ive tested lately.

Agree with that. I've shot several Brooklyn weddings and the MTF charts don't lie:

No way, I literally just dealt with this yesterday. Small world.

Just saw this thread and felt like I had to jump in. If you really need that stupid sharp look and have about 1200 bucks, you might want to consider the Sigma 105mm f1.4 DG HSM Art if you can find a good used copy or a sale. I used one for a big event last year and the detail is almost scary... you can literally see every single pore and eyelash. But be careful tho, that thing is a literal brick and weighs a ton. Your wrists are gonna be screaming after an 8-hour wedding day in Brooklyn. I would suggest also checking out the Sigma 65mm f2 DG DN Contemporary for something a bit more manageable. I know f2 sounds slow to some people but the micro-contrast is actually insane and its way cheaper. I actually did a side-by-side comparison with my older glass and the 65mm is just punchier. Just make sure to double check the AF in low light before the big day because it can hunt just a tiny bit when the sun goes down... definitely dont want to miss the cake cutting or anything important.
