Honestly so frustrated right now because I spent all my savings on this D850 and now im realizing my old glass just looks like total trash on it. My logic was that a better body would fix everything but now im panicking because I have a cousins wedding in late October and I literally have maybe $450 left in my bank account for a decent prime.

I was thinking maybe the older AF-D stuff but I heard they arent sharp enough for the high megapixel sensor? Then I looked at the Sigma Art series and those are way out of reach. Is there anything that wont break the bank but still handles the resolution well? I really need something sharp for portraits and im just spiraling looking at prices online...
