What is the best all-around lens for Sony E-mount cameras because honestly I am so done with carrying a bag full of primes and missing every good shot while I fumble around. I thought Id be okay with just a 35 and an 85 but its a total nightmare for travel and Im leaving for Tokyo in six days.

Im literally ready to throw these primes in the trash lol. I need one single lens that can stay on my A7III the whole time and not weigh me down. My budget is around $1100 max. Is the Tamron 28-200 actually good or should I just get the Sigma 24-70 and call it a day? I'm panicking a bit here...

Dude, I feel your pain so much! Trying to swap primes in a crowded place like Shinjuku is basically a recipe for a mental breakdown lol. I switched to a single do-it-all zoom for my last big trip and it was seriously life-changing! You are gonna love the freedom of just having one lens on the body. It makes the whole experience way more fun and you actually focus on the city instead of your gear. Before you buy anything tho, I gotta ask... do you find yourself wanting to zoom in really close on stuff far away, or are you more about getting those wide shots of the buildings and streets? Also, how much does low light performance matter for your style? Tokyo at night is incredible, so that might really change which way you should go!
