I just got an a7iii for my trip to the Grand Canyon next month and im so stoked!! But looking at lenses is so confusing and i only have about $400 left to spend.
sorry if this is a dumb question but what is the best cheap wide angle lens for sony full frame?

Unfortunately, finding a killer wide lens for 400 bucks is pretty tough. I had issues with the build quality on the cheaper Samyang stuff and it just wasnt as good as expected for sharpness. Check these out:
- Tamron 20mm f/2.8 Di III OSD M1:2
- Samyang AF 18mm f/2.8 FE The Tamron is kinda slow to focus but the glass is actually solid for the price.
